In 1924, Zack Layfield, Sr. opened the doors of the Layfield Company, the precursor to Johnson Industries, in downtown Atlanta. Constant sales growth, growing inventories featuring the finest in automotive products and services, and an increasingly broad distribution have formed the foundation of Johnson Industries' first seventy-five years.
